Dark Horse Comics is teaming up with the Hero Initiative for the newest 100 Project.
At the direction of the Hero Initiative, Dark Horse published 100 copies of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. 1952 with blank covers, which the Hero Initiative then sent to 100 different comic artists to create an individual cover to be auctione off for charity. The Hero Initiative is a non-profit company dedicated to providing for comic creators in great financial need. And Hellboy is the signature creator of writer/artist, Mike Mignola.
The first 10 books from the Hellboy 100 covers will be auctioned on Ebay beginning at 10am today, June 2; with the rest of the covers to be auctioned 10 at a time for the next ten weeks. In September, all of the Hellboy 100 covers will be collected in both hardcover and softcover editions that can be purchased at comic shops or Graham Cracker Comics.
As part of a multiple reveal across several comic websites, CraveOnline is proud to unveil two of the Hellboy 100 covers.
