The Lacoste Roland Garros collection celebrates the 2015 French Open tennis tournament in Paris, which begins May 19. It is the first time this men’s and women’s tennis collection will be carried in the U.S. and outside the Roland Garros stadium. So, if you can’t be there in person, you can still have the look of a tennis star.
Lacoste has been the historic partner of the French Open’s (also known as the Roland Garros) for over 40 years, annually presenting a range of apparel that celebrates the clay court tennis tournament. This year, vintage looks and technical innovations shape the collection.
A former tennis champion, René Lacoste is also the famous inventor of cotton piqué (a weaving style). His silhouette is found across the entire range of goods and is in fact the central theme of the 2015 collection. Inspired by sporting values and tennis court lines, the graphic design is dynamic and playful, daring you to wear your classic polo shirt with a structured jacket and a vintage sweatshirt.
