The brand was founded in NYC in 2011, and now calls both east and west coast home, pulling brand and styling inspiration from each. Simply put, Salt Surf is the opposite of in-your-face graphics and colors.
In perfect alignment with this aesthetic, Salt Surf’s Spring/Summer 2015 is filled with laid back colors and styles, both for your board and your closet. T-shirts in the line include simply branded logo tees, in addition to more subtly labeled cotton/poly blends (with just a tiny metal tag on the front), as well as Terry Tees, that promise to be soft like a bath towel.

On the board short front, you really will stand out from the crowd as there are no plaids, stripes, absurd patterns or neon to be had here. Instead retro-fit and styled boardies are served up in muted coral, raspberry and peach or faded black and blue. Feeling dressy? Cotton button ups or plain crew neck sweatshirts are as formal as Salt Surf is going to give you. But paired with plain and simple pants or jeans, and new sneakers, and you’ll be yacht club ready.
On the hard goods side, Salt Surf stays true to their name, offering their line of surf and skateboards with the same super clean branding. And what’s surely one of the best facts about this company is that all products – clothing, boards and accessories, are made right here in the U.S.A.
