16-year-old Alex Lee somehow became a viral sensation recently, after a Twitter user posted a photo of the young Target employee bagging groceries. Soon enough, #AlexFromTarget went viral and Lee found the photo of him trending worldwide, with girls fawning over the retail worker.
But now things have taken an even more surreal turn for Alex, as he was invited on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss his new-found fame. Needless to say, Alex admitted to Ellen that he was a little overwhelmed by all the attention being lavished upon him, which saw his number of Twitter followers rise from 144 to now over 600,000 (and counting).

Ellen also asked whether or not Alex had any talent he could make use of to keep the #AlexFromTarget brand going strong, but alas, he has not. Not that the internet cares about that – he’s a floppy-haired teenager with a good smile. You’ll go far, kid.
