Boston’s Bully Boy Distillers was recently awarded the Gold Medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Reportedly inspired by the “discovery of their great-grandfather’s farmhouse vault holding craft spirits dating back to the Prohibition era, Bully Boy founders Will and Dave Willis began their journey of small-batch distilling in 2010.” They believe “vodka flavored vodka,” and these recipes prove it.

Honey V
Ingredients:
- 1.5 ounces Bully Boy Vodka
- 1 tablespoon fresh honey
- 1/4 ounces Lemon Juice
Preparation: Stir until the honey dissolves. Add 3 ounces soda water.
Cucumber Gimlet
Muddle three slices of cucumber in a tumbler.
Add:
- 1.5 ounces Bully Boy Vodka
- 1/2 ounces simple syrup
- 1/2 ounces lime juice
Preparation: Stir. Add ice. Add one ounce soda water.
