- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 beef rump roast 3-5 pounds
Note: You can also use sirloin tip, flank or venison.
Preparation:
Mix spices with sauces.
Cut steak into strips. I partially freeze the meat to make it easier to slice.
Pour mixture over sliced steak using a container with a lid. Let the meat marinade over night in the refrigerator.
Put oven on lowest heat setting. Line bottom of oven with foil. Place meat strips on oven racks. Do not overlap.
Leave oven door cracked open. It will take 4-5 hours to dry meat. Be sure meat is dry completely before removing. Store in tightly covered container.
