Amazon Fire TV: What You Need to Know in Bullet Points

Amazon has announced Amazon FireTV, a new streaming media device that will be ready to use in your living rooms.

The set top box boasts 2GB of RAM, a dedicated GPU and a Quad-core processor, and will feature support for apps, games and photos. Only Amazon Prime Instant Video and Hulu Plus will be available at launch, though the likes of Netflix, YouTube and HBO Go will be making their way to the device soon.
