Kenneth Fire Map Shows How Far the Flames Have Spread

Kenneth Fire map shows that the new blaze broke out in the West Hills area of Los Angeles and has spread to 960 acres. A new blaze erupted near the border between Los Angeles and Ventura counties on Thursday afternoon, which triggered mandatory evacuation orders. However, it has now been reduced to evacuation warnings in LA County. According to the latest update, the Ventura County firefighters have stopped the forward progress of the Kenneth Fire while it’s still 35% contained.

Where is the Kenneth Fire now?

The blaze on the map of the Kenneth Fire stands at 960 acres from the West Hills area of Los Angeles. ABC News reported that there are no reports of structures destruction or damage from this blaze. The Ventura County firefighters have stopped the forward progress of the Kenneth Fire. However, the status stands at 35% containment.

Meanwhile, the evacuation warnings in Ventura County have now been lifted. The evacuation warnings have been issued for LA County, as per the Los Angeles Fire Department. These zones are Vanowen south to Burbank Blvd and County Lane Road east to E Valley Circle Blvd. The fire department has further noted that those who require additional time to evacuate should leave now. 

The LAPD has also launched an investigation for arson at Victory Trailhead, where the Kenneth Fire originally broke out. Brian Entin of NewsNation reported on X (formerly Twitter) that the area is now a crime scene. Meanwhile, one person has been taken into custody. Entin shared the interview with the LAPD, who revealed that the blaze was intentionally set and the suspect “was detained by citizens.” The officer shared that Kenneth Fire is being “investigated as a crime.” 

According to CNN, the Eaton Fire has burned at least 13,690 acres and is 0% contained. The Palisades fire has jumped to 19,978 acres and is 6% contained. On the other hand, the Hurst Fire is now 37% contained after burning 771 acres. Besides these, the Lidia Fire stands at 60% containment after reaching 348 acres.
