What You’ll Need
- Smartphone with a case
- External battery or charger
- Barf bag
- Streaming account
You’re going to be setting up your own personal media area so you can watch your favorite shows on your phone hands-free. You’re going to want to start this by checking to see if your flight offers WiFi. If it doesn’t, most streaming services will allow you to download your movie or show ahead of time so you can watch it without a connection.
Next, you’re going to want to have a charger or an external battery, perhaps both. For most airlines, you can check and see if your seat comes with a built-in charging port. If yours doesn’t, you’ll definitely need an external battery so your phone doesn’t die before your plane lands.
Then, you’re going to need a barf bag. That’s something the plane provides and for once you’re going to put it to good use. Unless that is, you’re a nervous flyer. Take the case off your phone and put one end of the barf bag into the phone case so your phone will be in the landscape position. Now, place your phone back inside the case.
