You Can Buy Taco-Flavored Jelly Beans, Because That’s What Easter Has Been Missing

Years ago, Jelly Belly changed the easter candy (and literally any time of the year candy) game when it started to make realistic-tasting jelly beans. We’re talking bangers like pear, toasted marshmallow, and buttered popcorn to name a few. These amazing flavors and a seemingly endless number of other varieties made easter candy fun again. We didn’t have to settle for bland, average jelly beans anymore. While Jelly Belly’s are still the top of the jelly bean heap, the folks at Brach’s are trying their best to dethrone them.

That’s because, this year, Brach’s (on top of its usual flavors) is dropping a bag of jelly beans labeled as “Late Night Taco Truck.” If you’re utterly confused by this, you’re not alone. Luckily, we know that this title is a reference to the mix of sweet and savory jelly beans in this bag. On top of sweet flavors like margaritas, churro, and horchata, this bad is also loaded with surprising flavors like salsa, guacamole, and beer taco.

While we’re honestly a little frightened to tear open a bag of “Late Night Taco Truck” jelly beans this year, we’re willing to give it a try. How bad could a taco beef-flavored jelly bean really be? Even if it’s disgusting, at least the sweet flavors should be decent, and you can always prank your friends and family by making them sample the savory flavors.
