Marijuana Legal Where You Live? Lyft Wants To Give You Discount On 420

Need a ride on ‘cannabis Christmas?’ Hail a Lyft in order to save more money for your Mary Jane.

If marijuana has been legalized where you live, the ride-sharing company is offering riders up to $4.20 off their rides on 420.

As pot increasingly becomes as socially acceptable as alcohol, brands are also increasingly seeing 420 as a big marketing opportunity. Therefore, this discount from Lyft is being partnered with the new film Super Troopers 2, which is being released on 420 as well.

Lyft said in their blog that the partnership is more of a unique PSA campaign for those in states where marijuana is legal.

Lyft wants to be a safe, reliable, and affordable 420 partner in order to raise awareness about the consequences of driving under the influence of marijuana.

So if you do get a Lyft, you’ll have to enter the code LYFTTROOPERS in the ‘promos’ section of the Lyft app.

That’s just smart marketing.
