Funny. Mine does the same thing and it only cost four bucks.
According to Splinter, the “Ember Ceramic Mug” promises to “keep your beverages at the perfect temperature from the first sip to the last drop,” and that’s truly something that will no doubt make coffee and hot tea drinkers giddy around the world. It’s just that the price tag for such a magical thing is likely to get their panties in a bunch.
That price tag? You guessed it – only $79.95.
Of course, if that’s in your price range for some reason, then this product review will likely seal the deal.
“The cup’s saucer is its charger,” the review says. “Having the saucer on my desk meant I could leave it charging all the time. That is useful because without it, the battery only lasts for an hour or two.”
Whoa, wait. There’s a saucer that comes with it that acts as a charger? Well, then. Screw it. Sign me up for six of them.*
*Note: We were obviously joking here. If you pay $80 for a coffee cup, you’re a freaking idiot.
