Coach is an American fashion house that prouds itself on its New York heritage and style. So after opening Coach House, a 20,000-square-foot Midtown Manhattan retail space, in 2016 for its 75th anniversary, the company decided for another bold step in their NY story — teaming up with iconic graffiti and street artists for an outdoor mural project.
The leather-based company built itself on an all-American attitude and free-spiritedness, so they’ve acquired the help of New York’s most authentic artists in order to create a memorable ad campaign while gifting the city with art.
All the art pieces have a common motif, which is the Coach’s signature ‘C’.
Total of 13 murals were created by the following artists: Giz, Hellbent, Trihumph, Eric Inkala, Jason Naylor, Bisco Smith, Crash, SUCH, WhIsBe, Tats Cru, Jason Naylor, The DRiF, and Dain. You can find their Instagram handles and the locations of their murals on the map of the five boroughs here. Check out Coach’s Instagram with other murals on it.
Visiting these 13 Coach murals could make for an interesting day in NYC. Tell us which one is your favorite.
