Dominating the fashion industry wasn’t enough for Dolce & Gabbana so the giant Italian luxury clothing company formed a collaboration with SMEG, a manufacturer of kitchen appliances. So now we have Dolce and Gabbana kitchen appliances thanks to the cooperation of two Italian companies.
The line of Dolce & Gabbana kitchen appliances is called Sicily is my Love.
If D&G kitchen appliances were the thing you were waiting for all this time you’ll be glad to know that you can fully equip your cooking area with them. Juicer, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, and a blender all come in colorful designs, inspired by Southern Italy motifs.
This isn’t the first time that Dolce & Gabbana dabbled into the kitchen and worked together with SMEG as last year the company produced 100 hand-painted fridges for Milan’s Salon del Mobile design fair. Each of the refrigerators sold for $50,000, while the small kitchen appliances are going for $600 a piece.
