If you’re unaware that Hurricane Harvey has been wreaking havoc on Texas since late Friday night, well, welcome back from your coma.

Eight people have been confirmed dead so far, and many more are missing. Many volunteer rescuers along with police and fire personnel can only use boats to rescue the thousands of people who are still stranded amongst the rising floodwaters, and at least one rescuer is making the rounds on his jet ski.

Check out this unbelievable image that was uploaded to Reddit recently — an image that has already been viewed more than 700,000 times.

My friends grandmother being jet ski’d out of her living room in Houston

It truly is one of the most amazing images to surface from the horrifying madness in and around the Houston area that has resulted from the worst hurricane to make landfall in over 12 years. And perhaps nobody summed it up better than Redditor “1-800-CAT-LADY,” who had this to say about it:

“Houstonian here. I think at this point, a lot of us are tired of being sad and angry. Fuck it, rain won’t stop, but we got to move forward. And there’s something so amazing about seeing strangers and communities coming together to help one another. Through all of this shit, there are still things that can make you smile. Stay safe, y’all.”

Yes, very well put. Stay safe, y’all.
