The last time Pepsi was in the news is last month when they released a train wreck of an ad with Kendall Jenner that rocked the internet. And now? Now Pepsi is trying to save-face. But guess what? They messed up again. And this time they have messed up our taste buds.
Starting May 22, for only eight weeks and just in time for summer, Pepsi will be releasing a cinnamon-flavored soda. Why? No clue, but it seems like they hate us all. The soda will be called Pepsi Fire and it aims to add “an unexpected and spicy twist to our classic cola taste.” Gross.
Is this Pepsi trying to to a soda version of fireball whiskey? Perhaps. But of course, people already think it’s a shit idea.
I just tried @Pepsi Fire. I had a sip. It’s like someone was like “Let’s mix Pepsi & Fireball, but take out the fun of Fireball.” #ifeelsick

Why does Japan get refreshing, delicious flavors like @pepsi Sakura but we get this cinnamon Pepsi Fire trash?

Pepsi is trying out the new flavor in select 7-Eleven stores, but only in Slurpee version. Which is why we’ve seen these tweets:
7/11, WTF Slurpee flavor is Pepsi Fire…
You got rid of Piña Colada for that shit?

If you choose “Pepsi fire” as a slurpee flavor at 711, chances are we wouldn’t get along

Have you ever gotten a whiff of a certain liquor & it reminds you of the time you almost died. That’s what the new @pepsi FIRE did to me pic.twitter.com/eEbdGcElx1

Pepsi just continues to shit the bed, folks. And early reviews says that no one will actually be giving this reaction…
…when they drink Pepsi Fire.
