Images of the Microsoft Surface Laptop have reportedly leaked ahead of the tech giant’s reveal event for the hardware, showing the device running a new version of the Windows 10 operating system branded Windows 10 S.
The images show off the sleek Surface Laptop ahead of its rumored reveal later today, as revealed by Twitter user WalkingCat. The device, which looks similar to Apple’s Macbook Air, reportedly boasts a 13.5-inch PixelSense display with 3.4 million pixels, though will not feature the detachable screen of other Surface products.

According to the leak, the Surface Laptop will be available in four colors: Plaitbum, Burgundy, Cobalt Blue and Graphite Gold. Microsoft appears to be especially keen to advertise the Burgundy Surface Laptop, which is featured prominently in the leaked promotional material.

According to WalkingCat, the laptop measures in at 9.9mm at the front, 14.47mm at its rear and weighs 2.76lbs. It will reportedly run Windows 10 S, which is set to be Microsoft’s take on Chrome OS with all of the device’s programs and apps being downloaded from the Windows Store.
