Apple’s AirPods have been widely criticized for their lack of wires, with many complaining that it’s only a matter of time before they lose their pair and wind up being forced to pay a hefty $69 for a replacement. However, if you’re an AirPods owner who also happens to have a stretched ear lobe piercing, then you’re in luck, because iPhone owner Andrew Cornett has found a tremendous life hack that solves this irritating problem.
Cornett has discovered a pretty ingenious way of decreasing the chances of losing his AirPods, by way of pushing their ridiculous looking stems through the hole in his lobe. The end result admittedly looks a little bizarre, but it seemingly does the trick, keeping them in place using little other than his skin.
Although not exactly a practical way of keeping the AirPods tucked safely in your ears, it does at least reduce the chances of you having to make an expensive trip to the Apple Store after losing one of the earbuds on your morning commute.

Now we highly doubt that Cornett’s makeshift AirPod holsters are going to catch on, but if you’re that concerned about losing your pair of pricey earbuds then perhaps gauging your ears is the way to go. Or, y’know, you could just stop being such a fancy pants and deal with wired earphones like the rest of us plebeians.
