Donald Trump Now Has His Own Font Named “Tiny Hand”

Donald Trump’s handwriting has inspired the creation of a brand new font, which has been dubbed “Tiny Hand” by its creator.

A satirical article posted by BuzzFeed purporting to show The Donald’s pre-debate notes was conjured up by graphic designer Mark Davis, written in the style of Trump’s “unique” handwriting. A statement from BuzzFeed News deputy editor Ben King reads:

On Wednesday morning, Saeed Jones, BuzzFeed News’ executive editor, sent me the first draft of Hannaham’s post. Naturally, I Googled “Trump notes debate” to research visual cues we might use in order to help provide a visual identity for the story. The search yielded several examples of Trump’s . . . eccentric handwriting style. With only a cursory search—and more focused keywords—I was able to find other examples of his handwriting. Trump’s notes, written to friends and enemies alike, were almost always written at an angle, scrawled on top of printouts of articles from the internet . . . I was struck both by the peculiar delivery of the notes, but also by the idiosyncratic way Trump writes the alphabet. At that moment it was clear to me—as it surely must be to you, dear reader—I had to make a font based on Donald Trump’s handwriting.

King added that he believed Tiny Hand could become the next Comic Sans, encouraging readers to write “bigly” with the new font, an unfortunate word that fell from out of Trump’s mouth during his latest head-to-head with Hillary Clinton. The font’s name is a reference to an insult first levied at Trump 30 years ago by Vanity Fair magazine editor Graydon Carter, who famously referred to the presidential candidate as a “short-fingered vulgarian.” Trump’s Republican opponent Marco Rubio brought this insult back into the limelight after criticizing the businessman’s hands once again on his campaign trail, with Trump refuting these insults on a number of occasions.

Here’s an example of a sentence written in Tiny Hand:
