Eight years: that’s how long a woman will be spending behind bars after fooling her girlfriend into thinking she was a man by forcing her to wear a blindfold during sex.
This bizarre story is making the rounds again after 25-year-old Gayle Newland was sentenced to eight years today. The court had to hear how Newland wore a prosthetic penis during sex for two years to fool her girlfriend, who remains unnamed, but can be seen in the picture below:
“You were so convincing in your cruel deception of [the victim] she thought she had finally found a man she could love and be with,” Judge Roger Dutton said before sentencing Newland on three accounts of sexual assault.
Newland of course tried to apologize but Dutton wasn’t having any of it:
“You apologized because the game was up, and your cruel deception had been discovered. Your behavior amounted to a callous breach of the trust your friend had in you.”
Newland, who the victim knew as Kye, went to some seriously weird lengths to fool her girlfriend. From creating a fake Facebook, to wearing a prosthetic penis, to forcing her victim to wear a blindfold; all of this to hide the fact that she was gal.
The woman finally learned the truth after something told her to rip off her blindfold…after two damn years. Newland had also wore a hat to hide her hair, and also taped down her boobs to resemble more of a man.
All of that crazy shit adds up to eight years. I don’t think Newland will have to pretend to be a man in prison…
