Boy, the toys that come with Happy Meals sure have changed since I was young.
Anna Potterson bought a Happy Meal from a McDonald’s in Dublin and got more than what she paid for when she discovered a maggot in one of her french fries.
“One of the chips looked like it had a burnt spot in the middle, but when I looked closer, I realized it was some sort of worm or maggot,” Anna recalls.
While Anna did get her refund, she also says she got a shocking response from the cashier: “Sorry about that. It happens very, very often.” That should also be McDonald’s new slogan.
Anna took her story to Facebook as a warning to others to stay away from McDonald’s. In other news, you should stay away from shark-infested waters.
