Florida Guy Tries To Buy Weed And Unknowingly Texts Narcotics Captain

Not exactly the high he was looking for.

William Lamberson, a 29-year-old man from Port St. Lucie, Florida, was so eager to buy some weed he accidentally texted the captain of the Martin County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, Brian Bergen.

“When 29-year-old William Lamberson of Port St. Lucie wanted a “hook up,” he began texting friends, or so he thought,” wrote the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook. “It turns out, Lamberson’s misdial connected him to someone who knows all too much about illegal drugs.”

When Capt. Bergen ask Lamberson if he has any “blow,” Lamberson quickly replies with “I actually do man. Lol.”

One has to wonder if William was already high when he texted.

After Bergen arranged a meetup with Lamberson to buy the coke, Lamberson was apprehended.

“They agreed to meet up at a pool hall in Jensen Beach. Instead of meeting up with an old friend, Lamberson came face-to-face with narcotics detectives,” the police reveals. “According to Bergen, Lamberson was perplexed and asked deputies where his buddy was.”

Lamberson faces one count of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
