Sometimes what you’re looking for is right in plain sight.
On July 31, police responded to a domestic violence report only to have the door shut back in their face by the suspect, 25-year-old Edward Martin. Eventually, a woman opened the door and police began to search for Edward. And Edward’s hiding spot was a tad more obvious than police originally thought.
The photo above was taken and posted on the Internet by Edward’s own neighbor. It clearly shows two unsuspecting cops completely oblivious that Edward is right above their heads. The photo’s caption makes this photo even better: “They’ve been looking for him for 10 minutes.”
According to Daily Mail, police claimed that they knew where the suspect was and had just set up a perimeter around the house. Okay then.
Edward was eventually nabbed and charged with resisting and obstructing police charges, including being charged with domestic violence as well.
Maybe next time these cops will search inside the house and on the house itself.
