The dancing man heard round the world finally got his party this past weekend.
Back in March, Sean O’Brien, who is seen in the above photo getting down on the Today Show stage, was body shamed and mocked for simply dancing in public and enjoying himself. After a picture of O’Brien being mocked landed on the Internet, support for him spread quickly, led by Cassandra Fairbanks. O’Brien was promised a party that celebrities, entertainers, and plenty of women wanted to attend.
The party, which was attended by about 1,000 people, was held on Saturday night in Los Angeles at the Avalon. Moby stopped by to Dj’d, and even Monica Lewinsky made an appearance, as well as Pharrell who made a video message just for O’Brien.

Even though it was a huge party, they were still able to raise money against bullying.

Pretty fantastic that a picture meant to fuel negativity was flipped and turned into a positive thing.
