Sorry, man. They send funny guys to prison, too.
According to WBBH, a 40-year-old Naples man was arrested last Thursday after what police said was a string of vehicle burglaries.
But it’s not David Durham’s crime spree that is making headlines as much as his choice of wardrobe for his mug shot:
Police said Durham targeted vehicles in beach parking lots near the center of the city. Surveillance video showed Durham smashing the window of one vehicle. Another shows Durham walking around the parking lot checking to see if doors were unlocked.
The first burglary took place in late February while Durham’s latest attempt occurred earlier this month, and he’s now being charged with grand theft, burglary and criminal mischief.
Durham gladly admitted to committing every single burglary at the time of his arrest, which is something we’re sure his attorney would like to add to the list of “dumb things” his client does.
