Charles Barkley Is Terrible at Hip-Hop Karaoke

Charles Barkley was the man on the basketball court, and it doesn’t get any better than him when it comes to being an analyst on TNT’s “Inside the NBA.”

But in regards to his hip-hop karaoke skills: Jesus H., let’s just say Sir Charles falls somewhere between Lou Ferrigno and Stephen Hawking.

Visiting New Orleans for the NBA’s All-Star Weekend, Barkley stopped by The Cat’s Meow to show of his hip-hop skills by attempting to rap to “Gin and Juice” by Snoop Dogg or Snoop Tiger or Lion or whatever the hell he goes by these days.

He shouldn’t have. No, he really shouldn’t have:

Puke.

The Cat’s Meow might tout themselves at “the world’s best karaoke bar,” but for almost five minutes last night, they wouldn’t have even been the best karaoke bar in Santa Fe much less the city of New Orleans.

Still, it wasn’t the most embarrassing hip hop performance by an NBA player in history, as Mark Madsen and his “Farmers Only” jeans dancing/running in place while Shaq spits over “It Takes Two” after the Lakers won their third consecutive championship still holds that honor:
