There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and the games are still days away. Fears of homophobia and security risks have dominated the headlines, but now we have something else to talk about. Racy photos of some of Russia’s sexier female athletes have gone viral and include figure skaters, curlers, skiers and hockey players. Apparently, Russians are very proud of this, with one website claiming that “Russian sportswomen are the best campaigners for our team in Sochi,” and goes on to say, “Our Russian Olympic team defies stereotype that women in sport are just a heap of muscles and masculine shapes.” Fair enough.
