G-Star Raw might be best known for their premium denim that we have been appreciating since 1989, but the label that started with a foundation in jeans, has branched out to become a master of many trades. Take for example shoes. The new lineup for Fall/Winter 2017 boasts a diverse array of footwear perfect for any occasion. Boots are made with premium materials and in rich colors, while the sneakers feature unexpected details and a noticeable lack of logos and branding.
We don’t mind picking favorites and will definitely share the pairs that are on our must-have list. If you’re looking for a stand-up boot, with workman qualities but heavy on the style, the Roofer Boots are perfect for everyday wear, made with black leather but with poppy orange laces. Meanwhile if your lifestyle requires something a little fancier, make a statement with the Guarded Lace Shoes. They are dress shoe-like, but with a rugged lace-guard that rises from up the toe.

Finally, looking for something for Casual Fridays? G-Star Raw’s options in the athletic shoe department are a mixed bag of fun. We like the Arc Sneakers, especially in dark navy. (Navy shoes aren’t the easiest to come by, if you’ve ever tried looking.) They have an elasticated ankle-sock for tight, yet comfortable fit. Or go for understated and classy with the Thec Sneakers, which are made with a variety of materials, giving dimension to what could otherwise be a plain pair of shoes.
