Naga Goes on a Poseidon Adventure

Naga is a French brand that has plumbed the depths of the deep blue sea for inspiration, coming back up for air with designs that reflect the underwater flora and fauna only deep sea divers are privy to. With Naga, we can all have these very same wonders in the comfort of our homes and work spaces.

Their collection of decor includes a host of fantastic magical sculptures, including huge metallic coral wall pieces and metallic fish. The sculptures are both bold and decidedly discreet. Take for instance their sculptural octopus tentacles (or seahorse tails) that, when juxtaposed against functional furniture like armchairs, settees and desktops, somehow seem appropriate.

The sea runs rampant throughout the collection, keeping with the brand’s ultimate ambition: fill the home with life. Hence the glass sculptures of coral and ceramic sculptures of jellyfish, which do wonders to animate an office. Both pieces range in sizes from intimately small to infinitely grand.

While following a classical aesthetic, Naga lets its inner child out to play by curating fun otherworldly looks. There is a sense of mythology at play here, as if Poseidon might pop out of the corner and will the pieces to life.
