With the 2016 editions of Monterey Car Week, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca upon us, Crave will be on the scene to explore the worlds of elite classic automobiles and modern supercars.
Monterey Car Week – and especially the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance — is soaked in money while the occasional snobbery associated with elitist cars sneaks into auction houses and track days. The Exotics on Cannery Row lets Joe Six Pack and Suzy Temp get a free look at the supercars they can only dream about otherwise.
Set up along the thoroughfare John Steinbeck made famous, this year’s second edition of the Exotics on Cannery Row brought out several blocks’ worth of modern masterpieces from Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, etc. As with last year’s inaugural event, the show was free to the public.

Almost all of the cars on display took their exclusive nature up a notch with custom paint jobs, performance enhancements, and other flares to make them entirely unique. Locals and gearhead tourists filled Cannery Row for hours milling from one dream ride to the other.
