The first ever Food Truck Friday Extravaganza is tomorrow, July 1, in Kirkland! With 10 food trucks (including Delfino’s Chicago Style Pizza and Street Donuts), live music, and even a dog treat stand (courtesy of The Seattle Barkery), there will be something for every member of your family.
Seattle International Beerfest
Holy moly! Get your beer guts ready for the Seattle International Beerfest (July 8-10), 3-day festival specializing in rare, hard-to-find, exotic beers. Each year the fest showcases over 220 of the very best beers, so stroll around with a freshie as you listen to great bands play all weekend.
SeafoodFest
SeafoodFest (July 9-10) is one of Seattle’s most iconinc summer festivals, beginning in 1974 as a community celebration of Ballard’s historic connection to the fishing industry and the neighborhood’s Nordic roots. The two-day festival is free and attracts over 65,000 people looking to enjoy the traditional salmon barbecue, local music, arts and crafts, family entertainment, and, of course, a beer garden.
Bite of Seattle
Get your munch on at Bite of Seattle (July 15-17), the Pacific Northwest’s ultimate showcase featuring 60+ restaurants & pop-up vendors, craft beer and cider tastings, 5 outdoor music stages, outdoor beer gardens, live cooking demonstrations and cook-offs. Expect food aplenty at this popular, always-packed but family friendly foodie convention.
Summer Beer Taste
The 10th annual Summer Beer Taste is an adults only affair (no dogs either), which isn’t necessarily a bad thing., right. One ticket gets you 10 tastes picked from over 20 local microbreweries, with Barking Dog Alehouse brats and pub snacks included. So prepare to play grown-up while simultaneously playing beer games.
Chow Down
A $50 ticket to Chow Down (July 26) gets you food and beverage samples from 18 restaurants in Columbia City and supports the Rainier Valley Food Bank, which offers food assistance to low-income and vulnerable residents in southeast Seattle. a perfect opportunity to do good while getting your grub on.
