When it comes to dating, people in different cities have differing opinions when it comes to their definition of an ideal romantic evening. Depending on your city, some suggestions will be received more warmly than others, and knowing this can increase your chances of securing a date.

The fine folks over at online dating site Zoosk recently looked at over 600,000 conversations that had taken place between their users in Chicago, Denver, Indianopolis, Los Angeles, Dallas, Boston and New York City in order to determine what the singletons of each city responded to most enthusiastically when it came to date locations. It turns out that the beach was the most appealing date destination, with folks in Chicago being 7.2 times more likely to respond to someone asking them if they’d like to go soak up the sun.
Meanwhile in Dallas, mentioning dinner would dramatically increase the response time, while people in Indianapolis really love drinking. Check out the results of Zoosk’s research in the infographic below:
