‘Taylor Swift Cardigans’ trends after merch rerelease
The phrase ‘Taylor Swift cardigans’ has taken over social media again, as fans can’t stop talking about them. This sudden interest comes after Swift brought back the Fearless (Taylor’s Version) cardigan for a limited run to celebrate the fourth anniversary of her first re-recorded album.
The beige knit sweater is embroidered with black stars and trimmed in black. It comes with a woven label featuring the album’s title. The Fearless (Taylor’s Version) cardigan was released in sizes for all, ranging from XS/S to 3XL/4XL. Both male and female models were featured in the promotional video and on her website.
Priced at $75, it was available for 72 hours or until it sold out, which they quickly did. This prompted even more demand as fans began searching for restocks or secondhand listings. However, as of now, there is no announcement about restocks. Because it was a limited edition release, there’s a chance it won’t be restocked.
It all started in 2020 with the release of Folklore, when Swift introduced the first cardigan. The original cream-colored cardigan closely resembled the one she wore in the “Cardigan” music video. The original design remains one of her most popular merchandise items.
Since then, each of her albums has featured a different cardigan design, including her re-recordings of Red, Speak Now, and 1989. In total, Swift has released 12 different versions. While Evermore hasn’t yet had a cardigan, many still hope one will be released.
Fans are now looking forward, as Taylor Swift has just two albums to re-record: Reputation and her debut album. There’s no confirmation yet if she’ll release matching cardigans for them, but fans are hoping she will.
