After the end of The White Lotus Season 3, Walton Goggins penned an emotional letter reflecting on his on-screen journey with Aimee Lou Wood. In it, he thoughtfully expressed his feelings about their shared experience on the show.

Goggins played the role of Rick Hatchett in the HBO series alongside Wood, who portrayed the character of Chelsea. The two were one of the most loved couples, however, their deaths in the finale left fans heartbroken.

Commenting on his and Wood’s dynamic on the show, Goggins shared a carousel of photos of the two and wrote, “Rick + Chelsea. With the heaviest of hearts… To me, ours was a love story. It was only ever a love story, hindered by unresolved, childhood trauma. We all have them… but can we move past them. In the depths of our despair there is always beauty around us. If we can sit with our pain, just sit with it… not react… not be defined by it…It’s there… the love the world is constantly giving in any given moment is there. Thank you Mike White for your imagination, your tender heart, for the privilege of giving us the opportunity to tell it. Thank you Aimee Lou for being my partner… a journey I will never forget.”

Additionally, Goggins expressed his gratitude to the fans for showering them with love and being a part of their journey. Patrick Schwarzenegger also commented under Goggins’ post, “I’m crying.” He plays the role of Saxon Ratliff on the show. He plays the role of Saxon Ratliff on the show.
