Alan Ritchson‘s wife, Catherine, penned a message on social media for his Reacher Season 3 co-star, Sonya Cassidy. In Season 3, Cassidy plays Susan Duffy, a Drug Enforcement Administration agent who becomes involved in Jack Reacher’s undercover operation within a criminal enterprise. During the course of their work, Reacher develops feelings for Duffy.
Here’s what Alan Ritchson’s wife had to say to Sonya Cassidy.
Alan Ritchson’s wife’s message to Sonya Cassidy explained
Ahead of the Reacher Season 3 finale release, Alan Ritchson’s wife, Catherine, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message of appreciation for Sonya Cassidy. She posted two photos: the first was a family picture featuring Cassidy, and the second was a candid shot of Cassidy and Ritchson, with the latter seen eating a salad.
“I’d like to shine the spotlight on and show my gratitude for the work ethic of Sonya Cassidy @ms_filmmaker,” Catherine wrote.
The Reacher star’s spouse then praised Cassidy’s work ethic in her role as Duffy. Cat also described Cassidy as a “dream come true for any actor’s spouse.” She went on to highlight Cassidy’s professionalism and strong boundaries, emphasizing how Cassidy was always well-prepared for love scenes—situations that, as Cat noted, could make both actors and their spouses at home “feel vulnerable.”
Alan Ritchson’s wife then concluded by saying that Cassidy’s work ethic and boundaries synergized into her “outta the world performance.”
Cassidy appreciated Alan Ritchson’s wife’s words and responded with a heartfelt message of her own.
“Cat, I’m touched,” Cassidy replied. “Thank you and @alanritchson for welcoming me into this whirlwind world of Reacher – on and off-screen.”
The Susan Duffy actress then expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with Alan Ritchson. She was also thankful for getting to spend time with Cat and the latter and Ritchson’s three sons.
“If I may say- they’re very lucky lads,” Cassidy concluded. “All four of them, in the Ritchson clan. X”
Reacher Season 3 is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
