FKA Twigs’ ongoing Eusexua tour has hit yet another roadblock after logistical difficulties forced her to cancel and postpone her upcoming shows in Chicago, Toronto, and New York. The singer has already had to cancel her two opening concerts in Prague and Berlin due to shipping issues. This makes the delay in her North American shows even more worrisome.
Here’s everything you need to know regarding the canceled shows in FKA Twigs’ Eusexua tour.
FKA Twigs announces cancelation of North America tour
The English artist had to postpone several of her forthcoming concerts in the US due to visa troubles.
As such, FKA Twigs took to TikTok to share an apology video to her fans for the alteration in her tour. She also noted that her production team’s failure to complete the required paperwork in time caused the entire fiasco in the first place.
Here’s the video the singer shared:
In the clip, Twigs stated, “Behind the scenes practically, it has been challenging with production and just the more practical sides of putting this tour together. So today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform. So that means that by no choice of my own, I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago, and Toronto shows.”
The “Tears In The Club” singer then doubled down on how dejected the situation with her tour made her feel. She remarked, “I don’t take this lightly. I’m completely devastated, to be honest to you. I’m completely heartbroken. All I want to do is be there with you and bring Eusexua.” Nevertheless, the Grammy-nominated musician reassured her fans that she was doing her best to correct the debacle.
Per the recent changes, FKA Twigs’ original tour dates in Chicago have been modified from March 26-27 to June 24-25. Meanwhile, the New York concerts, initially scheduled to take place on April 3-4, will now happen on April 23-24. Twigs’ team has yet to confirm the rescheduled dates of her Toronto shows.
