Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot had a fallout after Oscars

A recent Variety report claims that tensions between Snow White stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot began with a social media remark by Zegler. While sources indicate that the two had no personal issues during filming, things allegedly became strained in the months leading up to the movie’s release.

According to the outlet, the situation escalated after Zegler referred to Gadot as a “professional pageant queen” in an Instagram comment following their Oscars appearance on March 2. The statement was reportedly seen as dismissive, contributing to speculation of a feud. Disney’s decision to have the actresses promote the film separately only added to the rumors.

The report also highlights an earlier controversy involving Zegler’s online post. In August 2024, just after Snow White’s first trailer was released, she posted “Free Palestine” on X. This allegedly raised concerns within Disney, leading producer Marc Platt to meet with her in New York. Despite pressure, Zegler refused to remove the post. Meanwhile, Gadot, who is Israeli, allegedly faced death threats. This prompted Disney to enhance her security.

The tension was noticeable when the Snow White premiere was held on March 15. The two actresses were reportedly kept apart, with Zegler sitting two rows ahead of Gadot and her family. However, neither has publicly acknowledged any rift.

Beyond the reported tension between Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, Snow White has faced multiple controversies. These include Zegler’s criticism of the original film, debates over the casting choices, and other production-related issues.
