Will NBC Release New Episodes of Chicago Fire, PD & Med on March 26?

Viewers are eager to know whether new episodes of Chicago Fire, PD, & Med will premiere tonight on March 26 in their usual time slot. The One Chicago shows were on a two-week hiatus, leading to delays in the next episode’s premiere. Now, fans wonder if the break will extend further and when the series’ return is possible. So, here are the details.

Are new episodes of Chicago Fire, PD, and Med coming out tonight?

Yes, Chicago Fire, P.D., and Med new episodes will premiere today, March 26, 2025.

All of One Chicago shows’ ongoing season’s Episode 15 premiered on March 5, 2025. Then, they took a brief break and have now returned to air their next episode. In Chicago P.D., Burgess faced a tragedy, making it difficult for him to recall details.

In Chicago Med’s upcoming episode titled “Poster Child,” Goodwin will bump into a past patient, causing the reappearance of old wounds. Meanwhile, Frost and Charles will help a patient tackle his sexual orientation crisis. Lenox and Abrams will be seen engrossed in an important life-and-death case concerning a patient who has long been in a coma.

Chicago Fire Episode 16, titled “In the Rubble,” will focus on Pascal, who channels a no-quitting attitude as he remains determined to seek justice. Meanwhile, Damon is dedicated to securing his place at Firehouse 51.

Why did New Chicago Fire, PD and Med go on a break?

NBC followed its usual practice of scheduling short breaks in between episodes to ensure a smooth run through mid-May, when most seasons conclude. This led to the all One Chicago series going on a hiatus.

During the break, the network either opts for a re-run of previous episodes or offers the series’ time slot to run another program. For instance, during its first week of absence, the network re-ran the Special One Chicago crossover.

All One Chicago shows originally premiered on NBC. Fans can also enjoy old and new episodes on Peacock.
