General Hospital’s Laura Wright on Whether Carly Is Dead or Alive

Fans of General Hospital are on edge as Laura Wright’s Carly finds herself in survival mode after drinking a seemingly harmless drink which later turns into a life-threatening situation. Now, viewers are left wondering if she will survive. Wright also teased about her “deadly” fate. But, what does that mean? What happened, and what’s next?

Here are all the details on Carly’s fate in General Hospital.

Is Carly dead or alive in General Hospital?

The latest General Hospital episode showed Carly enjoying drinks in Brennan’s room while Valentin was outside. What started as a casual evening took a dark turn when Carly sipped champagne from a tampered bottle. Unaware of the danger, she praised the drink, urging Brennan to try it. However, Brennan noticed something was off with the label, and quickly, in a desperate move, he knocked the glass out of Carly’s hand, but it was too late. Moments later, she collapsed. Adding the angst to the episode was Valentin Cassadine, who was roaming outside the room. He walked away with a sinister smirk, hinting at his involvement in the poisoning.

Brennan immediately called 911, realizing that Carly might have ingested poison. Doctors worked frantically to stabilize her as it became clear she had ingested a deadly poison called polonium. Carly’s pulse dropped. Now fans have to wait till the next episode to know whether she survives or not.
