Eva LaRue, who plays Natalia Ramirez in General Hospital, recently took to social media to confirm Blaze‘s return to the show. She is a rising singer introduced in 2022, better known as Alison Rogers. Sadly, the character played by Jacqueline Grace Lopez departed the show in August 2024 upon being offered the chance to go on a tour with the famous musician Miguel Morez. However, LaRue has now teased her return, which has fans buzzing.
Here are all the details.
Could Jacqueline Grace Lopez’s Blaze come back to General Hospital?
As Eva LaRue hinted, Blaze is likely returning to General Hospital.
LaRue recently shared a General Hospital cast picture on her Instagram handle, featuring her, Lopez, and Marco (Adrian J Anchondo). She captioned the image, “Mi #GeneralHospital Familia ?#mykids@generalhospitalabc.” Her post likely indicates that viewers will get to see Blaze in the upcoming episodes. Aside from Blaze’s return, the actress also appeared to have given out some key details about the upcoming episodes. Her caption subtly hints that it would be revealed that Marco is, in fact, Natalia and Sidwell’s son, who is gay. Also, he is Lucas’ new love interest. This means that fans could expect a much-awaited family reunion.
The August 13, 2024, episode witnessed Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) ditching Blaze to pursue her career, leaving her devastated and heartbroken. Following the breakup, she embarks on a music tour with Morez. This piqued curiosity about her character’s future before the news of Lopez’s departure emerged. The next day after the episode aired, Lopez revealed that she is exiting the hit soap opera on her Instagram handle.
She shared a series of pictures from the set and a lengthy note. Her caption read, “Not gonna lie, this goodbye hurts. I think because I didn’t see it coming. That and when you spend almost two years with this group, you start to feel like part of the fabric.”
She further extended her thanks to showrunners, cast, and crew while appreciating the inclusion of Latiné story elements in her arc. Lastly, she thanked the fans for all the love and support during her time on the show.
