Nathan Fielder sparks documentary rumors with Elizabeth Holmes

Nathan Fielder has reportedly visited Elizabeth Holmes in prison multiple times, fueling speculation about a potential new project involving the former Theranos CEO. The comedian and filmmaker, known for The Rehearsal and Nathan for You, was seen at FPC Bryan, a minimum-security federal prison in Texas, where Holmes is serving an 11-year sentence.

According to The InSneider, Fielder has made multiple visits, leading to speculation that he may be working on a documentary or an experimental project based around Holmes. However, no official details have been confirmed. Holmes’ story has already been widely covered. In 2019, Alex Gibney directed The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, and in 2022, Hulu released The Dropout, starring Amanda Seyfried as Holmes. If Fielder is developing a project, it could offer a unique perspective on Holmes’ story.

Meanwhile, Holmes has spoken about her life in prison, maintaining her innocence in a recent PEOPLE interview. She shared details of her daily routine, which includes exercise, a mostly vegan diet, and teaching French to inmates. She said, “It’s surreal. People who have never met me believe so strongly about me. They don’t understand who I am. It forces you to spend a lot of time questioning belief and hoping the truth will prevail.” Currently, she finds comfort in weekend visits with her family. She said, “It kills me to put my family through pain the way I do. But when I look back on my life, and these angels that have come into it, I can get through anything. It makes me want to fight for all of it.”
