Fans of Temptation Island are once again swooning over the picturesque filming location of its latest season. The popular yet controversial reality show has arrived on Netflix bringing along the familiar romantic tensions and drama. Netflix’s Temptation Island was reportedly filmed in the state of Hawaii.
The popular reality show made its recent debut on Netflix with its ninth season overall. As always, the series continues to feature dramatic moments and revelations among the couples. However, fans were also enticed by the stunning ocean view villas where the filming took place.
According to Cosmopolitan, the series was shot in the west coast of Hawaii in the Kailua-Kona region. Kona is the second largest settlement in Hawaii after Hilo and is home to some stunning landscapes.
The show was filmed in two villas in Kona where the couples stayed for most of the duration. But many scenes were shot in other picturesque areas of the island where the couple went out for dates. The cast members also visited several local establishment, eateries, cream parlours and more.
Season 9 marks the series’ transfer to Netflix but follows the same familiar concept. Like previous seasons, the show features four couples who are willing to test their partners’ loyalty. To do so, they move in with attractive individuals from the opposite gender in a romantic tropical spot away from their partners.
The question that remains is will they cave in and end up cheating on their partners or stay loyal by the end of the season. This season’s couples are Alexa and Lino, Ashley and Grant, Shanté and Brion, and Taylor and Tyler.
