She ends up kissing him, but he makes it clear to her that he dearly loves his life, Nyla Harper. Soon, things took a dangerous turn when the man whom James warned off returned to the shelter. The man attacks James and Kylie and goes on to shoot them, leaving them fatally injured.
The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with James’s fate left unknown. As a result, fans started feeling that James might be shown dead in the following episodes.
