ESPN sports commentator Stephen A. Smith didn’t hold back when discussing Taylor Swift during his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The sports commentator was asked if he believed Swift and her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, would get married in 2025. His response surprised both Fallon and the audience. Smith’s response further added fuel to ongoing speculation about Swift and Kelce’s relationship.

Stephen A. Smith recently shared his thoughts on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. While discussing various trending topics, Smith was asked whether he believed the pop superstar and the NFL player would get married in 2025. His reaction caught both Fallon and the audience by surprise.

Before he could answer, Smith accidentally knocked over a microphone on Fallon’s desk, immediately apologizing. Smith then gave his opinion, saying that while Kelce is popular among women, Swift is “a different animal.”

The ESPN star said, “She (Taylor Swift) looks good. She’s incredibly talented. And she’s worth about a billion. We’re going to guess a ‘yes’ on this one.” Smith further added, “You know what I’m saying? Look good, talented and you’re a billionaire?” 

His response left Fallon stunned. The host stood up from his chair, walked around his desk, and and called it a “hot take.” He further added, “… I hope that happens.” Fans quickly took to the comment section to express their approval and appreciation for Stephen A. Smith.

Swift and Kelce, who started dating in mid-2023, have been dealing with engagement rumors for months. Neither has confirmed nor denied any speculation, but their public appearances have fueled discussions.
