Her family discovered her dead in her Los Angeles home on March 5. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as suicide from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Bach married Hasselhoff in 1989, and they had two daughters, Taylor and Hayley, before divorcing in 2006.

Her family became concerned after not hearing from her and went to check on her, according to TMZ, which first reported the news. Hasselhoff released a statement, saying, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Bach began her acting career in 1973 with a guest role on The Young and the Restless. She later appeared in Baywatch, Cheers, Baywatch Nights, Castle Rock, and The Fall Guy. She met Hasselhoff while guest-starring on Knight Rider.

Her daughters have not publicly commented on her passing. Hayley, however, reposted a photo of her parents on her Instagram story with a white heart emoji, per NDTV. On New Year’s Eve, Pamela Bach shared a final Instagram post with a picture of her granddaughter London, expressing gratitude and hope for the new year.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 16, 1962, Bach attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College before pursuing modeling and acting. Later, she competed in the U.K. reality series Celebrity Big Brother. She is survived by her daughters and ex-husband.
