Mike “Boogie” Malin, who is known for his appearance on Big Brother, was reportedly arrested in January in California over allegations of shoplifting from multiple CVS stores. Authorities said Malin attempted to take items without paying. Now, many are wondering what exactly happened.
In this article, we will delve into the details of Mike “Boogie” Malin’s arrest.
What happened to Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin?
On January 29, Mike “Boogie” Malin was arrested in Burbank, California, following allegations of shop theft, as per reports. He was accused of shoplifting from multiple CVS stores in the San Fernando Valley. As of now, Malin has not publicly addressed the arrest or alleged charges. (via TMZ)
Authorities reported that Malin was initially confronted by an employee at the first CVS location after allegedly stealing items. He returned the stolen items and left in his car. Suspecting he might target other stores, police searched the area and found his car parked outside another CVS store. The car was still running but unoccupied. When he returned to his vehicle, officers took him into custody.
A witness identified him as the person who stole two bottles of alcohol and energy drinks from the second location. Additionally, an employee from the first location signed a citizen’s arrest form, further supporting the charges against him. Malin was taken into custody for misdemeanor theft and later released with a citation for a future court appearance.
Notably, this is not Malin’s first legal issue. In 2019, he was arrested over charges of felony stalking ex-Big Brother contestant Will Kirby. Prior to that, in 2011, he faced a lawsuit for embezzlement and was asked to pay $800,000.
On the professional front, Malin was last seen on Big Brother in 2012, during Season 14, where he took on the role of a coach on the CBS reality show.
