Great news! Peacock has renewed The Traitors for Season 4.
BBC officially announced at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August 2024 that The Traitors will be back with a fourth season. The network’s head of entertainment, Kalpna Patel-Knight, opened up on the renewal, stating:
“The Traitors has well and truly established itself as an unmissable highlight of the year and the news of a fourth outing, alongside a brand new celebrity version coming to the BBC, will take the series to a whole new level.”
Mike Cotton, the executive producer for the franchise, acknowledged that they will invite celebrities to the show. He stated, “Seeing famous faces navigate the round table or don the infamous green cloaks will be unmissable TV, and what a double treat for the fans with series 4 also confirmed too.” (via Radio Times)
Filming for the upcoming season and the celebrity edition will take place in 2025. For the unaware, the applications for Season 4 have been extended till March 28, 2025. On the other hand, the celebrities participating in the new edition are yet to be revealed. While makers haven’t announced a release date for the next season, Season 4 is expected to drop in early 2026.
In the meantime, Traitors Season 3’s grand finale is much-anticipated by fans. The finale will premiere on March 6, 2025, on Peacock at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time and 6 p.m. Pacific Time. It will be interesting to see who will walk away with the grand cash prize of $250,000.
