Activision recently announced a new Guitar Hero game, hyping up fans about its potential release. However, new announcements, including a mobile game and controller releases, have reignited fans’ hopes for the long-dormant franchise’s comeback.
Here’s all you need to know about the latest Guitar Hero updates.

Recently, Activision took to Instagram to reveal a poster for an upcoming mobile version of Guitar Hero.
The poster featured four silhouettes holding guitars against an electrifying backdrop. The caption read, “Play your way — Guitar Hero goes mobile.” As the name suggests, the game is specifically designed for mobile phones and tablets. Fans quickly flooded the comment section, expressing excitement for the game.

A pop-up notification suggested the product might launch in the future, keeping some fans excited. Meanwhile, others criticized Activision on social media, accusing the company of using an AI-generated poster to create hype and test market interest.
