Elon Musk has generated numerous headlines lately due to his active involvement with the newly-formed US government as an advisor to President Donald Trump. As such, his appearances and actions have been placed under a high amount of public scrutiny and a new trend circulating online has drawn attention as it suggests that Musk got a haircut that has been likened to that of a Nazi. This follows Musk’s controversial appearance at one of Trump’s inauguration events, where he appeared to give a salute that many likened to a Nazi salute.
Here are all the details about the images being shared of Musk’s haircut online, what social media users have been saying about them, and where they originated from.
Elon Musk did not get a ‘Nazi haircut’
On March 5, several users took to X (formerly Twitter) to share some snapshots of Elon Musk sporting an interesting hairstyle. In the photos, the 53-year-old appeared to have shaved off his hair on the sides and back of his head. The hair on the top of his head remained in a natural state.
Some commenters online likened Elon Musk’s unusual appearance to that of Adolf Hitler, likening the hairstyle to a Nazi haircut. Meanwhile, one user on X highlighted the resemblance between the SpaceX CEO and North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. “I did not have Elon going with the full Kim Jong-un haircut on my bingo card,” the comment read.
However, it has since been confirmed that the haircut images being shared of Elon Musk’s haircut are actually old photos of the billionaire. As revealed by Times Now, the pictures date back to 2021, when Musk visited Miami on a private jet to attend the Art Basel Miami International Art Fair. Accompanying him at the venue were his one-year-old son X Æ A-XII, as well as his Shiba Inu puppy, Marvin.
