Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Monica Garcia has announced that she is currently pregnant with her fifth child. The reality television star has already mothered four daughters, Bri (age 19), Jaidyn (age 14), West (age 8), and Kendall (age 7), all of whom she shares with former husband Mike Fowler. As such, Garcia’s next baby will be the first with her current boyfriend, Braxton Knight, after the couple tragically experienced a miscarriage last year.

A representative of the RHOSLC Season 4 star confirmed the news of her pregnancy in an exclusive statement to People. Garcia also engaged in a maternity shoot with the media outlet, showcasing her belly while donning a black blazer, in addition to some snaps that featured the expectant mother alongside her partner.
Monica Garcia noted that she revealed the exciting update of being pregnant to Braxton Knight by planning a trip to Disneyland. The pair have also decided not to learn about the baby’s gender until the due date. Moreover, Garcia and Knight have yet to decide upon a name for their child, with the former stating, “We are really struggling in the name department. Send us all your name suggestions!”
While Monica Garcia thoroughly expressed her excitement about being pregnant, she could not help but recall the difficult time she experienced during her miscarriage last year. Aside from facing hurdles on the professional front as well as in her relationships, Garcia also had to battle speculations that labeled her pregnancy and the subsequent miscarriage as fabricated. “The accusations of me lying about a pregnancy and miscarriage that I received daily while dealing with such an unexpected loss was a pain that I will never forget. I was losing a baby while being shredded apart by some of the most awful comments I’ve ever had said to and about me,” she said.
Garcia’s new baby is reportedly due in April.
